Bodkin ArrowheadThousands of our fans have asked the question: "Bodkin Creek ???? Whazzup wi'dat?"

Well, the simple answer is that Bodkin Creek is a small bay in Anne Arundel County, near Gibson Island, Maryland along the Chesapeake. It is not far from where the band had its origins in the deep, dark depths of Norm's basement, circa 2004. Herb joined the current line-up in December 2007, and they began playing in public again in early 2008.

Yeah, but what say you is a "bodkin"?

(Courtesy Wikipedia):   ''A bodkin point is a type of arrowhead. In its simplest form it is a squared metal spike, and was used extensively during the Middle Ages. The name comes from the Old English word bodkin or bodekin, a type of sharp, pointed dagger. They were as long as a man's middle finger.''

Now before this discussion digresses and turns to a discussion about middle fingers, we'll just leave it at that.

One thing is for certain:  With a name like "Bodkin Creek", you had better be good!
